How to create powerful course preview pages with Dash
With Dash’s new on-page navigation, you can guide users smoothly through your preview page. Any block on your dashboard can be added to the navigation menu, which highlights the currently visible section and scrolls smoothly when clicked. You can also control when the dashboard title appears and add a customizable call-to-action button that links directly to enrollment, a campaign, a shop page, or any URL.
A key building block for preview pages is the Course Sections widget. It presents the course structure in an intuitive accordion layout, showing sections, activities, and completion indicators at a glance. When used with the Designer format, it can also display section summaries, types, and estimated time — making the preview even more informative.
Dash offers many additional widgets and data sources that work perfectly on a preview page, such as: Users enrolled, Course completions, Badges earned, Course recommendations, and more. Combined with on-page navigation, you can craft a clean, structured, and interactive preview experience that helps learners understand what your course offers — and invites them to take the next step.
